The first 15 minutes of the day!

The first 15 minutes of the day!

What if I tell you,

when you wake up in the morning,

the first 15 minutes of your day has an impact on your entire day.

Those 15 minutes decide whether you’re going to have a good day or a bad day!

—–x—–

In that initial fifteen minutes, if you think that you had less sleep, you’re waking up tired, you wish you didn’t have to work today, if you could stay in bed for the whole day,

guess what,

those thoughts have an impact on the entire day and the day’s events will proceed in that manner.

—–x—–

On the other hand, if you wake up with the thoughts of gratitude, thanking for this life that you have, that you woke up, that you have the ability to accomplish so much this day and every day,

guess what,

you have set a positive tone to the day and you’ll feel more joyful to accomplish as many tasks as possible, during the day.

—–x—–

Would you like to make a difference to your thoughts when you wake up?

That choice is up to you.

The thing about Streaks

The thing about Streaks

• Streaks •

The thing about streaks is that it allows you to commit to something, that you have been longing to do.

Every day is a push initially to complete it.

The streak continues and eventually you do it long enough to make it into a habit.

Heartbeats

Heartbeats

Have you ever noticed how the heart beats?

It never beats in a straight line, because that would simply mean you are dead!

It beats upwards and downwards (the heart rate increases and decreases), which means the heart is beating regularly – that’s how it’s supposed to beat.

It also means you’re living.

Our lives work in the same way. However, no one notices it.

If you do the same thing everyday, without any change, for the good or the bad, it resembles the heart beating in a straight line.

Life is about ups and downs. Whenever there’s a down, it also means that you’re going to rise from it and be at the top again.

It also means that you won’t stay at the top for long, and there’ll be a down soon and you should be ready for it instead of being stressed about it or dwell about it when it happens.

Live your life the same way your heart beats!

• Challenge #3 : Waking Up at 5.30 AM •

• Challenge #3 : Waking Up at 5.30 AM •

Technically, this should have been the first challenge because it all starts from here! Not necessarily 5.30 AM, it could be in that range whatever suits you, but this has been the best decision I made around 9 months back – it was the start of the domino effect.

It is a difficult habit to implement during the initial days, but when it becomes a habit, it’s the best thing in the world!
• I get the extra start to the day, which I wouldn’t before when I would wake up at 7/8/9
• It allows me to do more tasks in the morning and by the time I’d usually start my day, I’m done with most of the important stuff already!
• The peacefulness and the calmness around provides that extra boost, that alone time is the best when the whole world is sleeping and there’s simply no disturbance around.
• My day is more disciplined when I’m awake at the time I’m supposed to be and the whole day goes as planned! And, it’s a complete opposite scenario even there’s an hour or two delay and everything else thus gets affected – creating chaos in the mind!

If there’s a habit to start with, my first suggestion would be this one!
