My Best Life – KSHMR ft Mike Waters

KSHMR stated the following, for the reason behind this song, “talking about social media and how it’s become a tool for measuring ourselves. We talked about how it can be freeing to submit to the fact that somebody will always have nicer things / more money / etc and from there the lyrics came together”

Mike Waters also shared a few words following the same video as KSHMR, where the singer stated: “[KSHMR] and I wrote this song about being grateful for what you have – it can be hard to see people more successful than you (…) but if you don’t stop and appreciate what you have then it can really eat you up. (…) Be happy for those who made it work for them but most importantly be happy for yourself, and appreciate the position you’re in. (…) You get one life, but it’s yours, and you can make it whatever you want.”

//One song that has so much meaning, have you heard it yet?

A bend in the road.

A bend in the road.

“A bend in the road is not the end of the road… Unless you fail to make the turn.” – Helen Keller

Ultimately, it’s all about the choices you make.

These choices depend on the perspective you have.

The perspective comes from the kind of mindset you have.

If it is a positive one, then a bend in the road is not the end of the road.

However, if it is a negative one, then you will fail to make the turn.

Never Stop Learning

Never Stop Learning

• Never Stop Learning •

Education is limited, learning is not.

In order to grow as a person, to evolve, to upgrade to a higher version of yourself, you need to keep learning!

Learn something
– new
– different
– and, everyday!

It could be in any form – written, audio, video – either consumption on the internet, or having conversations with like-minded people, whatever suits you best.

That’s the key – Never Stop Learning!

The thing about Streaks

The thing about Streaks

• Streaks •

The thing about streaks is that it allows you to commit to something, that you have been longing to do.

Every day is a push initially to complete it.

The streak continues and eventually you do it long enough to make it into a habit.

The definition of ‘Opinion’

The definition of ‘Opinion’

Everyone holds people’s opinions on a pedestal and base their lives around it!

However, have you ever read the definition of an ‘opinion’?

A view or a judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

The opinion is not based on facts neither does the person have the 100% knowledge of your life?

Then why are these opinions so important?

Think about it.

People are scared to post.

People are scared to post.

Scenario A// What if I post this picture and I don’t get enough likes on it?

Scenario B// What if people judge me if I post that? *deleting post*

Scenario C// *Writing caption*

This doesn’t bode well in comparison to other people’s captions.

*Writing caption the 30th time*

People are afraid to open up on social media.

They pre-judge themselves based on what other people *might* think of them.

Authenticity is going down and more than that, people are backing out of posting anything on social media!

Even though it could have been super meaningful.

It might have changed someone’s life trajectory or more importantly, their own life’s.

What should happen?

People should open up and simply say what’s on their mind.

And target the audience that the content is for.

Instead of targeting everyone and worrying about their opinions.

Walk your own path!

Walk your own path!

Only the achievements are compared, not the goals or the aspirations or the journey or the day-to-day life!

It’s simply astonishing how the society works!

The best way to move forward in life is to follow your Journey and stay in your lane!

Can’t get any simpler than that!

Celebrate others successes instead of dwelling over them!
Support them in their failures instead of enjoying them!
To top it off, walk with others instead of trying to trample them!
