Small Things!

Small Things!

We always wonder it’s the big steps that we take that have the biggest impact in our life.

However, it’s actually the opposite.

It’s a curious one and we never stopped to wonder why.

In reality, it’s the small things that make the biggest impact in life.

Let’s map out three different scenarios that would explain this in the best possible way.

Scenario A –
A person wants to become fit and they say in order to so, they’d have to do intense workouts, go on a diet and probably do ‘x’ to reach that goal. A month later, nothing has changed.
However, if that person changes the perspective from the big changes to the small changes, then they would proceed by making a schedule, fitting in the workout time, readying the clothes beforehand and actually starting from day one to begin this process.

Scenario B –
A person, with quite some difficulties in their life, now thinks that they should turn to the path of positivity and leave out the toxicity behind. They wonder that this path would change their life and solve the issues.
However, in order to so, it’s the small things like thinking positive thoughts, having a positive self-talk, not undermining themselves or others are the micro ways to do so, for the bigger impact to happen.

Scenario C –
A person has an idea, that if scaled quickly can become a game-changer and even change people’s lives. Even if the efforts are appreciated, it’s the small things like arranging a team, plotting/ executing the initial work, showing the initial sales that would change things around.

No matter the situation, no matter how personal or professional, it’s always the small things, either in terms of planning, living, executing, it’s the small things that make the biggest impact in our lives. Always!

Perspective has changed, hasn’t it?

Perspective has changed, hasn’t it?

With everyone that is happening around us, the social distancing, the home isolation, the panic and the chaos, everyone’s perspective towards life has changed, hasn’t it?

We had a different perspective of looking at life earlier, when everything was normal. It was all relax and chill, focused on short-term planning and long-term planning. But, revolved around planning and planning.

Now, with this pandemic, hitting masses on such a scale, now when it comes upon yourself, then everything changes. Now it becomes, why was I focusing on this, does that even matter, and that perspective changes. Do you agree?

Sure, work is important, goals and ambitions are important, still are, but things like this make you question that you cannot leave things for the future. You cannot postpone something for tomorrow, because is there a tomorrow?

You got to do what you want right now. That is the perspective that I take away from this. You need to express your feelings, instead of keeping them bottled up. You need to pursue your dreams right now, because when else. You need to be with the ones you want to, right now, not in the future when there will be more time in your hands.

Who knows what happens 5 years later? You have to take that step right now and just take the leap, in whatever sector of life you were hesitating with.

Life is important, life is precious, life is about now. Living now, living in the present, not the past, not the future.

This should always have been the perspective, but even if it changes now, why not, better late than never.

Change starts with You

Change starts with You

Everyone wants to change the world, everyone wants to leave a mark, yet we forget about our own flaws and the dire need to rectify those first.

Change starts with yourself first, keep growing, keep upgrading yourself to a better version of yourself, better than before – until you reach a level where you can now bring that change to others as well.

That process takes time, but it also comes from authenticity and the courage to first do it yourself before you do it for others.

In simple terms, walk the talk.

#ChangeStartsWithYou

What kind of change are you looking for?

What kind of change are you looking for?

There are times in one’s life when they think something’s not working out, in whatever phase of life, or are probably stuck with something that isn’t allowing them to grow.

At such times, does the point of change come up, when you have to ask yourself what kind of change are you looking for?

To add to that, even though it is about taking a decision and moving forward in that direction, the process is still difficult – because it requires patience and efforts to actually change and to get on a better path that will improve your life.

During these moments in life, you have to ask yourself these two questions – what kind of change are you looking for and is it the kind of change that you’re willing to accept?

The answer’s always within you!

Changing your Attitude

Changing your Attitude

“The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change their future by merely changing their attitude.” – Oprah Winfrey

Once people understand this, then they can make wonders happen for themselves!

What you think is what you become!

Your attitude towards yourself, your work, your goals, your relationships define your present and your future.

If your present is not what you want, you have the opportunity to make your future better! How? By changing yourself – by changing your attitude towards everything – by changing your perspective!

It takes time – it needs practice – you make mistakes – but that’s the process with everything, isn’t it?

So not why take the matter into your own hands and write your own future?

Change can happen Now

Change can happen Now

Change is the only constant in life.

Change can happen anytime you want it to happen.

Change can happen Now.

The question is, are you willing to change?

Introducing change in your life first requires you to admit that you need that change. Acceptance is a must.

Then, to implement it as a part of your lifestyle, you cannot say, I’ve changed today. The right answer is The path towards change starts today, the process is long, but I’ll keep at it and make sure the outcome is different from what it currently is.

What needs to be changed?

That is up to you to decide. Ponder over your life, where are you lacking, what needs to be different, what is it that you are not able to get, focus on that.

Spread Love!

Spread Love!

“Spread Love everywhere you go” – Mother Teresa

There’s a lot of negativity in this world, especially with the access of social media platforms in the palm of people’s hands.

People hate each other, they want to feel superior than others, their ego doesn’t let them grow with others. The entitlement is enormous to create a rift with the close ones. With the internet, people now have the power to spread negativity in a matter of seconds – one hate comment here, one death threat there, there’s no healthy discussions in most places.

People aren’t kind to each other. When were you last walking and someone smiled at you or waved you a Good Morning? People all, but care about themselves. All busy, chasing something.

The ratio of people with the light, with the change is less at the moment, but we can change that one person at a time.

Be the light!

Spread kindness!

Smile!

Spread love!

Show gratitude!

The World needs more of that!

The World will become a better place because of that!

People will feel more happier because of that!

Change starts with You and it spreads! Even if not, you’d still make a difference and you’ll notice it.

Spread love everywhere you go! ❤️

What Songs Taught Us #6 – Wake Me Up

What Songs Taught Us #6 – Wake Me Up

• What Songs Taught Us #6 – Wake Me Up •

Song In Focus : Wake Me Up
Artist : Avicii

The song, Wake Me Up, an Avicii classic is a beautiful rendition of a young, inexperienced soul wanting to live a happy life, wanting to just start, wanting to experience the journey, not caring about how the journey will end.

The young soul was living his dreams, not knowing he was lost, as told by the people around him, who persisted to take the safe path, to do safe things and not wander around.

People around him say that he is inexperienced, that there is a difference between life and dreams, that life will pass him by, filled with regrets of not settling down.

And the young, inexperienced soul wanting to live his dreams is fine by it, he is ready to take the chance, because in the end, he’s happy with the decisions he’s taking, and he wants to experience the life as is.

I Made a Mistake!

I Made a Mistake!

I thought what is right for me is right for everyone!

That was my mistake!

I introduced the changes I needed in my life and thought these changes should be applicable to everyone!

I had the mindset of ‘Change’ on my mind.

What was needed was Self Awareness.

It was only right for me.

My job, as someone who became self-aware of who he was, what is important, what is not, and what do I need… My job is to bring that self-awareness to the table.

I can only share what I know.

Not lay it on other people.

That awareness will give people the option of the changes, what it is about, and whether they’d like to accept it or not.
